As pressure from the pandemic has increased, more of our neighbors have received eviction notices or are struggling to foot the bills. In Charleston, the average cost of utilities for one day is around $10. For a lot of our neighbors, that’s too much. To make ends meet and stay in their homes, many are going without gas and electricity altogether. By donating even a small amount, you can help a neighbor stay in their home with their heat and lights on a while longer.
Without the generosity of supporters and volunteers, Covenant House would be hard-pressed to serve and assist the nearly 40,000 individuals who walk through our doors or call us each year. Community donations of time, energy, money and goods provide us with the resources to keep helping our most vulnerable citizens. We depend on monetary gifts to continue helping individuals and families in need.
Checks can also be mailed directly to: Covenant House, 600 Shrewsbury Street, Charleston WV 25301
